Lost and Found: Under the Bed and Punching

Amidst soggy clumps of rust colored leaves, trampled beneath countless feet, embraced by pebbles of asphalt I found this film strip… as my dog squatted not 8 inches from where it lay.
Who is this man who climbs from beneath a bed wearing boxing gloves, a backwards catcher’s mask, and a sweatshirt slashed in such a way that would make Hulk Hogan want desperately, with mighty “pythons”, to tear it from his very frame?
These questions and many like it haunt my waking hours.

Lost and Found: Kick Hard Tom! UPDATED!

As I walked the street the other night, waiting for my dog to urinate, defecate, or have a fright-induced seizure, I saw this on the ground. It spoke to me immediately and so I picked it up.
I’m not much of a soccer fan and I know not who this man is – but even more importantly, I know not who Tom is. I even questioned the one guy in the neigborhood I know named Tom.
I don’t think there’s much more to be said about this objet d’art, save, kick hard Tom.
UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
It was recently brought to my attention that the gentleman in the above photo is none other than America’s pre-Mia Hamm sweet (hairy) heart: Alexis Lalas.
Fortunately I had thrown away the signed photograph I had previously found on the street, or else I would have been forced to take the $30 my informant (and Lalas fan) proffered.
